At Just Add Plants we endeavour to always supply high quality plant pots and accessories, but in the unexpected circumstances that something does go wrong please read the following guidelines:

Warranty

• At Just Add Plants we offer a two-year warranty from purchase date on all of our new products subject to certain conditions as listed in this Refund & Returns policy.

If your pots arrive damaged, incorrect or faulty

• You should inspect the goods as soon as reasonably practicable after delivery or collection.
• If there is visible transit damage, short delivery, supply of the wrong goods, or another issue that ought reasonably to have been apparent on inspection, you should notify Just Add Plants in writing within 48 hours after delivery or collection.
• If you become aware of a latent defect or concealed issue, you should notify Just Add Plants in writing within 7 days after becoming aware of it.
• Your notice should include reasonable supporting information, including photographs, order details, delivery date and a description of the issue.
• You should not dispose of, alter, install, repair or otherwise deal with goods that are the subject of a claim unless:
  a) Just Add Plants agrees in writing, or
  b) it is reasonably necessary to prevent safety risk or further damage.
• To the extent permitted by law, Just Add Plants may decline a claim for visible damage, wrong goods or other matters that ought reasonably to have been apparent on inspection if the goods have been installed, altered, modified or otherwise dealt with before Just Add Plants has had a reasonable opportunity to review the claim.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

• Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
• If a product has a major failure, you may be entitled to choose a refund or replacement, and in some cases compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
• If a product has a minor failure, we may choose to repair or replace the goods within a reasonable time.
• Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Change of mind returns

• Just Add Plants does not generally accept change of mind returns.
• However, Just Add Plants may, at its discretion, agree to a change of mind return in limited circumstances.
• If Just Add Plants agrees to accept a discretionary return:
  a) the goods must be in resaleable condition,
  b) return freight and any reasonable handling costs remain your responsibility unless Just Add Plants agrees otherwise, and
  c) the goods must be returned in accordance with Just Add Plants instructions.

Items generally not eligible for return

• Unless required by law or agreed by Just Add Plants in writing, the following goods are generally non-returnable:
  a) custom made goods,
  b) specially sourced goods,
  c) made to order goods, and
  e) goods that have been installed, altered, modified, damaged by misuse, or used contrary to Just Add Plants care or installation instructions.

Product variation and ordinary ageing

• Many Just Add Plants products are handcrafted, hand finished, batch made, or produced using natural materials and processes, so reasonable variation may occur.
• Variations in shade, tone, texture, markings, veining, gloss level, shape, dimensions, weight, surface finish and general appearance, as well as minor scuffing, small surface irregularities, minor hairline surface cracking and ordinary batch variation, will not of themselves mean the goods are faulty.
• Depending on the material and environment, goods may expand, contract, weather, mark, stain, fade, discolour, or show ordinary wear over time through exposure to sun, rain, water, soil, plant matter, fertilisers and normal outdoor use. Ordinary weathering or ageing of this kind is not, of itself, a defect.

Care, installation and modifications

• Where Just Add Plants provides product care, drainage, installation, handling or maintenance instructions, whether on the website, in product materials, or otherwise in writing, those instructions should be followed.
• To the extent permitted by law, Just Add Plants is not responsible for damage, deterioration, finish issues, drainage problems, structural issues or reduced product life caused or contributed to by failure to follow Just Add Plants product care, drainage, installation, handling or maintenance instructions.
• To the extent permitted by law, Just Add Plants is not responsible for issues arising from modifications made after supply, including drilling, cutting, painting, sealing, filling drainage holes, connecting the goods to drainage systems, or any other alteration not approved by Just Add Plants in writing.

How to contact us about a return or claim

• If you believe there is an issue with your order, please contact Just Add Plants using the contact details on our website as soon as possible.
• We may request photographs, order details, a description of the issue and any other information reasonably needed to assess the claim.
• Where appropriate, Just Add Plants may offer a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy in accordance with your legal rights and this Policy.
